Testimonials from Parents
Ieuan at ID Hockey Coaching has been working with my daughter in a 1-to-1 and group capacity for the last few years. He tailors each session to her needs and I’ve been incredibly impressed. My daughter has grown so much as a player—not just in skill and technique, but in confidence on the pitch. The sessions are well-structured, encouraging, and always focused on player development. If you're looking for top-tier coaching that brings out the absolute best in young players, I recommend ID Hockey Coaching.

Ieuan coached my son over 4 years through club, school and private lessons; developing him all the way through to national success with his school team and English Age Group trials at an individual level. I thoroughly recommend him as an inspirational coach and mentor to aspiring young hockey players!

Ieuan has undoubtedly brought out the best hockey in both my children. He is extremely professional and positive. He always provides thoughtful feedback and they throughly enjoy his sessions with them. On and off pitch he is a fantastic mentor and has been fundamental in my children’s hockey journey - right from the early days at Taunton Vale to being called for an U18 EAG assessment.
We cannot recommend him more highly.

My son has been coached by Ieuan over the past couple of years through one-to-one sessions, small group training and day camps, and I have been incredibly impressed with the quality of his coaching.
Ieuan’s attention to detail and personalisation of every session is exceptional. He takes the time to understand each player and what they need to develop, while making sessions challenging, positive and enjoyable.
What really stands out is Ieuan’s genuine interest in his players beyond the sessions. He regularly asks about my son’s progress, follows his hockey journey and is always there cheering him on and celebrating his achievements.
I’ve seen a real difference in my son’s confidence and development and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ieuan to any young player looking to progress their hockey.
